I love the MR400 as it allows cloud access thanks to the TPLINK cloud facility, on the router as 4g routers (using a 4g sim) cannot be normally accessed remotedly due to the sim being behind a NAT or artifical ip address, so these are perfect. Use of the TP LINK tether app allows access to this router anywhere in the world on my phone.

Quick to set up, easy to use
Very easy to set up out of the box - just plug in a SIM & switch it on! Very stable & a reliable data link - I've not had to restart the router since it was installed I got good performance indoors in a rural setting. Placed it next to a window for best performance - and tried a few windows around the house. The strongest signal (and best throughput) was not the shortest path to the nearest 4G mast - which surprised me. great low price router
We do not have the ability to have a standard landline due to BT OpenReach replacing all the old copper wires to fibre optic in our area, this router has the ability to take a mobile sim card... Great all round router, the detachable ariels help boost signal.. if you are in an area with internet connectivity issues the ability to use a data sim as a backup may be really useful!

Great when it works!!
